2+ Mechanical / Tooling / Manufacturing / Industrialization Engineering experience in an Automated Industrial Environment
Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing is a definite plus.
Strong problem-solving skills.
5-6 years of Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineer
Knowledge of assembly line tools & general equipment
Experience in Time study, Line balancing & continuous improvement
Good understanding of bottleneck analysis
Should be able to work in model mix assembly lines
Co-ordinate with shopfloor people & understand the pain areas
Very good communication skills with written & oral presentation capabilities for management & staff engineers
Must be flexible enough to coordinate with offshore team
Process mapping skills
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or other STEM) Major from an accredited University is required.
