EZG Manufacturing will be seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop mechanical drawings and technical documentation for the manufacturing of parts and equipment by means of laser cutting, bending, machining, and welding.

PRIMARY PURPOSE
EZG Manufacturing will be seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop mechanical drawings and technical documentation for the manufacturing of parts and equipment by means of laser cutting, bending, machining, and welding.
ROUTINE DUTIES:
- Analyze customer drawings for the creation of shop production documentation.
- Determine bills of material needed for jobs and order prior to job release.
- Create job packets form the production department that contain mechanical drawings, materials, quality documentation, workflow routing, and time tracking documentation.
- Provide support during the building and fabrication process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to customer specifications.
- Consult with customers, vendors, and internal personnel to discuss changes to projects and design discrepancies.
- Complete engineer change requests based on feedback from customers or the production department.
- Create new mechanical designs based on customer concepts or field measurements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Drafting
- Or Associates of Science in Engineering, Technology, Math, or equivalent Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, and drafting
- Previous Engineering & Fabrication Experience: 5+ years
