LOCATION: Carson City, NV (Fully On-Site)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct-Hire
PAY RANGE: $82K - $86K

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in the Carson City area, a leader in innovative adhesive fastening solutions. In this role, you'll play a vital part in enhancing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting electro-mechanical machines, and working closely with engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives.
•Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
•Perform root cause analysis on electromechanical devices and machines during malfunctions.
•Work with engineers and technicians to schedule manufacturing work as needed.
•Generate reports documenting improvements and adjustments made to malfunctioning equipment.
•Develop troubleshooting guides for each machine for operator reference.
•Generate work instructions for processes/operations.
•Generate and interpret documents such as aerospace procedures, engineering requirements, safety rules, and quality assurance manuals.
•Demonstrate competency in AutoCAD and a working knowledge of SolidWorks.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
•5+ years' experience as a manufacturing engineer in a machine shop setting with a bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
•Experience handling complex tasks such as value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and ownership of the CNC process.
•Preferred experience in the aerospace or oil and gas industry.
•Experience operating and programming CNC lathe machines.
•Experience in scheduling, shop management, and handling engineering tasks.
•Experience in AutoCAD, solidworks or comparable CAD software.
•Understanding of safety guidelines to assure quality and safety.
•Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Design and Tolerance.)
•Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Membership in professional organizations, (ASQ, SME, etc.) preferred.
