Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer role involves supporting, monitoring, and improving the production manufacturing process. The key responsibilities include documenting manufacturing processes, equipment capabilities, and quality metrics, as well as identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing toolsets.

This role is not available for new/future sponsorship, transfer, or renewal of nonimmigrant work visas.

Responsibilities:

• Document production processes, equipment capabilities, and value stream mapping.
• Support ERP system implementation and maintenance.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) tools to optimize production and product design.
• Develop and manage KPIs for process and product outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for component designs and repairs.
• Ensure production goals are met and support operational activities.
• Identify and implement tooling/equipment improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and manuals.
• Deliver presentations to internal and external customers.

Education & Experience:

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace)
• 3+ years' experience in technical manufacturing roles leading Continuous Improvement and ERP (Oracle, SAP, or Epicor)
• Experience in 2D and 3D CAD modeling (NX preferred)
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications, and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, and gages & their use in developing designs is preferred
• Awareness of program management tools, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of FAA guidelines is preferred
