Manufacturing Engineer

Duration: 12+months contract
Job Summary:
*Develop and execute trial plans.
*Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
*Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide "hands on" support to manufacturing and process engineers.
*Analyze test data of newly created products and raw materials.
*Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
*Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
*Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.
*Research new composites materials and novel processes.
*Create work instructions and SOP's for Quality System.
Education:
*Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines
Skills/Knowledge:
*Must be a technologist/engineer who has mold design and making experience
*Must have process knowledge to cast parts with 2-part chemistries
*Working knowledge of composites, textiles, foam, coating, and other processing equipment.
*Working knowledge of materials testing equipment.
*Eagerness to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other Additive Manufacturing processes.
*Working knowledge of advance fiber placement systems is desirable.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Effective team player, with strong critical thinking skills.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Ability to create and read 3D Modeling is highly desired.
*5+ years of prior relevant experience
