Clarke University is currently seeking a qualified individual to assume the role of Custodian. This is a full-time position with the hours of 10:30pm-7:00am. As a member of the Facilities Management team, this position will perform general housekeeping tasks in various campus buildings. Primary responsibilities include cleaning, scrubbing, mopping, sweeping, sanitizing, polishing and refilling consumable items.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent with at least one year of custodial or related work experience. Candidate must be comfortable using cleaning supplies and other general maintenance tools (Ex. Ladders) and be comfortable with a moderate level of physical activity. The ability to work as an individual as well as within a team environment is required. Must be willing to successfully complete certification program.
