Custodian Job at Valley Fitness Atascadero in Atascadero

Do you love the look of a clean space? We’re looking for an experienced janitor to fill a position on our team. You’ll keep our building impeccably clean, vacuum and mop floors, wash windows, empty trash, and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as needed. $16 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained
• Document areas cleaned and let managers know if major repairs need to be made
• Eliminate dangerous hazards and wipe up spills with squeegees or sponges
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily

Qualifications:

• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Over 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job
• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification
