Passionately in pursuit of the perfect beer... and never satisfied.Job Summary:Firestone Walker is seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador to join our team. The Brand Ambassador will attend events on behalf of Firestone Walker Brewing Company where our beer is sold such as festivals and charity fundraisers. The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for setting up equipment and displays, pouring beer, handing out materials and educating consumers on our beers. Tasting events give our company the opportunity to relate and engage consumers on a personal level while giving them the opportunity to try our product.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:Secure education in general brewing knowledge and specific Firestone Walker brewing information and beersAssist and run off-site events in areas where Firestone Walker beer is sold as assigned by the Regional Events ManagerSecure and transport beer to and from event sitesSet up, break down and clean pouring stations at event sitesPour beer tastings while engaging and educating consumers at eventsMaintain, clean and keep in good working order all event equipment including but not limited to jockey box and all corresponding parts, beer trailer, and firkin set upsUnderstand and be able to answer basic questions about general beer knowledge, Firestone Walker products and the company itselfEnsure FW brand standards are followed at all eventsAssist with account promotions as neededComplete post analysis of all eventsReport to and remain in regular correspondence with the Regional Events Manager no less than once a week to check inOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Must be 21 and overPrior knowledge of draft operations and a first level Cicerone Certified Beer Server certificate (can be obtained after hire)Current California Responsible Beverage Service certification required before beginning work Must be enthusiastic, engaging, beer savvy, well organized and self-motivatedPrior knowledge/experience in marketing and branding is a plusMust be enthusiastic, engaging, brand savvy, well organized and self-motivatedMust be able to work Friday through Monday working most weekends and holidaysAbility to promote Firestone Walker brand professionally, be personable, knowledgeable and helpful to the event and Firestone staffMust have a clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and have documentation showing you are legally able to driveMust have access to a vehicleMust have access to a computerPrior experience driving a trailer attachment and moving trailers a plusMust already live in the designated areaPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to drive a car.
