The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking Adult Sports Staff to join our team!

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Adult Sports Staff provides supervision, leadership, and motivation for participants in adult sports programs - providing a quality experience to participants that focuses on the YMCA values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with leadership, supervision and motivation for participants in adult sports programs.
• Monitor the facility to ensure a safe, positive, and fun environment. You will provide instruction and organize activities as needed.
• Facilitate games and officiate as needed.

• You are able to demonstrate a friendly, courteous and professional manner while working with members and staff.
• You are able to complete Child Abuse prevention training on the first day and other in-person and virtual trainings as required
• You have a positive attitude and previous experience with adults and diverse populations.
• Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).

Wage:$16.28 to $16.78 per hour, depending on qualifications

Hours:Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week

Location:Bremerton Family YMCA, Bremerton, WA
