Join our sales organization – the team that creatively develops cross-platform, client centric solutions across Warner Bros. Discovery’s portfolio of premium Sports, Entertainment and News offerings. The Account Executive plays a critical role within WBD’s sales team. He/She will be responsible for selling across TNT Sports including Bleacher Report.

We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive with expertise in both Linear and Digital platforms. This role is based in Warner Bros. Discovery's Culver City (Los Angeles) office and reports directly to the Vice President, WBD Sales. We're looking for a media professional who excels in navigating monetization strategies within an evolving landscape and effectively communicates their value to major brands.

In this role, you’ll not only generate revenue through partnerships but also collaborate closely with our Marketing, Planning, and Account Services teams to ensure programs meet and exceed client KPIs. You will be responsible for building and leveraging relationships with key contacts at major agencies and national brands while partnering with the B/R and CNN teams to deliver cross-platform programs across premier leagues such as the NBA, NCAA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, and more. A proven track record of sales success, coupled with a passion for innovative strategies, will be essential to driving client engagement and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ media sales experience required; Linear, digital video, custom content and league partnership sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and closing media brand partnerships with emphasis on growing revenue
  • An entrepreneurial mindset – creative thinker, results-oriented, passionate, confident, ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to understand media industry, changing technology and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Passionate for brand storytelling in a sports context
  • Strong organizational/project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide account management to a portfolio of clients. Develop, manage, optimize, and support strategic account plans, apply consultative sales strategies and leverage data and product knowledge to create business solutions for clients
  • Guide and consult clients on Turner Sports properties and how to achieve the greatest results based on client objectives 
  • Manage and analyze the performance of clients' campaigns to recommend and tailor solutions based on the clients' objectives and KPI's
  • Establish deep relationships with national brands and media/advertising agencies
  • Grow existing portfolio of clients, to drive and upsell Sports + B/R + CNN revenue
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • This role requires some travel to visit clients in various territories, hosting clients in respective cities for games, and attending other company events.
  • This role is required to be in the office 3 days a week
  • Must be eligible to work in the US

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
