Title of Position: Kitchen Manager

Job Description: The Kitchen Manager will be expected to operate a well-managed, clean, and safe kitchen while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and security standards and procedures to provide a healthy and safe working and dining environment. The person in this position will oversee the preparation of food which includes employee recipe adherence while meeting the company’s high standards for food presentation, sanitation, and quality. The Kitchen Manager must meet the restaurant's financial objectives, such as food and labor costs, sales, and guest counts.

Qualifications:

• The Kitchen Manager should always provide consistent support for the success of the operation.
• The Kitchen Manager must be extremely guest-orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
• A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements is required for the Kitchen Manager.
• A requirement for the Kitchen Manager is a true passion for the development and mentoring of others.
• This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are encouraged to apply.
• The manager must be willing to travel to Dallas, Texas for 5 weeks of training before returning to the restaurant in Odessa.
