Job Summary
Desai Dental Spa is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Document patient medical records accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Monitor vital signs of patients as necessary before, during, and after procedures.
• Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
• Stay updated with medical terminology and coding relevant to dental practices.

Experience
Candidates should possess a valid Dental Hygienist license and have experience in a dental clinic setting. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, medical records management, and assisting in various dental procedures is preferred. Knowledge of aseptic technique is essential for maintaining a sterile environment during treatments. Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $38.88 - $41.14 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
