ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (ADON - RN) - Full-Time - Rock Island, Illinois
Generations at Rock Island in Rock Island, IL, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) RN - This is a Full -Time Salaried opportunity, with an 8-hour shift, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 8:00a-4:30p and only On-Call one week a month. The Ideal Candidate Must be a Registered Nurse (RN). Any hours worked on the floor are paid hourly.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
- The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) collaborates with the Director of Nursing (DON)
- Ensure care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage the clinical team, help develop programs and provide education to staff
- Plan and evaluate nursing systems, rotations and methods

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) working in Long-Term Care
- Must have leadership and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of skilled nursing regulations preferred
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate or long-term care facility preferred
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
