Now Hiring CNC Vertical Mill and Horizontal Lathe Machinists in Southeast Houston!
- Location: 77015 Area ( Channelview/Ship Channel Area)
- Must have Low Volume, Large Parts Experience
- Schedule : Monday -Friday 6:00PM - 6:00AM (NIGHT SHIFT)
- OVERTIME AVAILABLE
- MUST HAVE HORIZONTAL MILL, OR VERTICAL LATHE EXPERIENCE
- Must submit an updated resume for immediate consideration
Horizontal Mill Machinist Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience running medium and large parts holding tolerances to +/- .001? with critical surface finishes.
- Ability to set up operations safely and efficiently without supervision using vee blocks, risers & angle plates.
- Ability to verify setups and operations using dial indicators, micrometers, balls, gages and other inspection equipment.
- Experience in cutting tool selection and problem solving when production issues arise
- Knowledge of reading, understanding, and troubleshooting CNC programs and component drawing
- Highly dependable with a desire to make a difference and become a key player in our development
Vertical Lathe Machinist (VTL) Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience running large parts holding tolerances to +/- .001 with critical surface finishes.
- Ability to setup operations safely and efficiently without supervision using both hydraulic and manual chucks.
- Ability to verify setups and operations using dial indicators, micrometers, balls, gages and other inspection equipment.
- Experience in cutting tool selection and problem solving when production issues arise.
- Knowledge of reading, understanding and troubleshooting CNC programs and component drawings Highly dependable with a desire to make a difference and become a key player in our development.
