The Baker/Mixer understands recipes, performs quality checks on ingredients and finished products, uses frostings, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance cookie presentation, and process orders from customers. Bakers/mixers also have a strong passion to create VIP experiences for customers.
As a baker/mixer, you will greet customers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, make sure the kitchen is stocked, and perform other duties as needed.
To be a successful baker/mixer, you should be efficient, friendly, focused on food quality and customer satisfaction, and have an understanding of baking techniques.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $8.50 - 9.50 per hour, plus tips. Crumbl employees can expect to make an extra $2 per hour in tips.

Schedule:


  • 5-6 hour shifts - 4pm-10pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • Saturday shift is required twice per month


Baker Responsibilities


  • Read and understand Crumbl recipes
  • Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make perfect gourmet cookies
  • Ball dough quickly to ensure ovens are always full of cookies
  • Decorate and display the finished product
  • Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
  • Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, accept orders and payment, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Keep records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
  • Take client information and ensure that deliveries are accurate and timely
  • Clean and restock the workstation and ensure all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift

Baker/Mixer Requirements


  • Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
  • Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create excellent gourmet cookies
  • Ability to work in a very busy and sometimes hot environment
  • Stand, walk, bend, use hands, appliances, and lift heavy items
  • 18 Years of age or older
