SUMMARY: As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility while also helping prepare rooms for events, auctions, and meetings. Your efforts will ensure a welcoming and professional environment for employees and clients alike.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, dusting, and polishing floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of restroom areas:
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Refill dispensers (hand towels, toilet paper, hand soap).
  • Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters.
  • Empty and remove trash.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and ladders to prepare for special events, including auctions and meetings.
  • Use chemical cleaners and power equipment following proper procedures to protect floors and fixtures.
  • Complete daily work orders as assigned and ensure tasks are finished on schedule.
  • Dispose of garbage and maintain waste areas.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
Requirements:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a janitorial or custodial work environment.


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions with precision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds consistently as part of routine tasks.
