The Sojourn Suites Portland Airport is currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager and to join and lead our growing housekeeping team.
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for the cleanliness of guestrooms and common areas of the hotel as well as supervising and training all housekeeping team members, inspecting rooms, assigning tasks and controlling the department's expenses.
Just three miles from Portland International Airport and a short drive to downtown and local attractions. Sojourn Suites offers all spacious suites with ample space to work, get comfortable and relax.

Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping, houseperson and laundry staff
- Assign daily boards to housekeeping team members
- Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives
- Monitor and maintain a level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas
- Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office
- Oversee all housekeeping duties
- Maintain productivity and labor cost goals
- Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing linen inventories and cleaning supplies
- Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs and that guest relations are enhanced
- Ensure satisfactory scores with brand by preparing for audits, evaluating results, and collaborating with management and team with necessary improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility required
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays
- **Conversational grasp of Spanish is highly recommended**
