Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Aide plays a critical role in ensuring that our facility is clean, sanitary, and safe for both residents and staff. This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are looking to contribute to a supportive, health-focused community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow cleaning and housekeeping schedules to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Coordinate daily cleaning tasks with the nursing services team to meet the needs of residents.
- Maintain adequate levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Perform daily cleaning duties including washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting various surfaces and fixtures throughout the facility.
- Properly dispose of waste and trash in designated containers.
- Ensure all work areas are neat and tidy, and store cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies properly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
- Preferred: Previous experience in long-term care, healthcare, or facility maintenance.
