We are currently seeking a commercially experienced cannabis manufacturing professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in extraction, manufacturing, production, and safety protocols. This role requires a proactive multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high-quality production systems.
Role Summary
The Finished Goods Manager is responsible for overseeing all finished goods production, driving staff to meet production requirements of each brand and product, while maintaining an adequate inventory of finished goods and components required for production. This leadership role is pivotal to the manufacturing department. This role ensures that products meet high internal quality standards and regulatory requirements before reaching the market. The ideal candidate will have extensive work history in production, inventory management, logistics, and compliance, ideally within the cannabis industry. Expertise in the commercial production of pre-rolls, vapes, and gummies.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the storage and inventory of finished goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping and optimal stock levels.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before distribution.
- Compliance: Understand and maintain compliance with local and state regulations, the company handbook, and other directives, as necessary.
- Logistics Coordination: Establish requirements with the Director of Operations and coordinate with the Extraction Manager to maintain inventory levels of finished goods, and ensure respective teams meet their respective goals and KPI’s.
- Team Leadership: Manage several teams of production employees. Ensure that production metrics are met while fostering a culture of teamwork, acceptance, integrity, and humility.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management and production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, KPI’s, quality control and operational performance, and compliance status.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within the cannabis industry or a related field. A strong understanding of cannabis commercial production of pre-roll, vape and gummy forms.
- Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations and quality standards. A strong understanding of lean manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in inventory management software and systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Metrc are highly desirable.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and senior management.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records, along with thorough evaluations of product quality is a must.

- Enthusiastic about the company’s product line and awareness of industry trends.
- Must be able to obtain a Cannabis Handler’s Permit as required by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
