JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Warehouse Operations, the Manager of Warehouse Finished Goods is responsible for overseeing the finished goods section of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, quality control, and timely distribution. This role involves supervising a team of supervisors and coordinators, managing rework processes, and collaborating with other departments to meet operational goals. The Manager is to be also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve the accuracy of inventory records. Additionally, the Manager will oversee the shipping operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and on time. This includes coordinating with carriers, managing shipping schedules, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process. The Manager will also be responsible for managing inbound finished goods receipts and outbound finished goods customer shipments, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and Manage Team:
- Oversee a team of finished goods supervisors (day, swing, grave shift), a rework supervisor, and a finished goods inventory control supervisor.
- Ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities and provide clear direction and support.
- Inventory Management:
- Accurate Inventory Control:
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce procedures for receiving, storing, and distributing finished goods.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Timely Rework Processes:
- Oversee rework processes to ensure that any defects or issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with the rework supervisor to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
- Quality Control Procedures:
- Implement and monitor quality procedures to ensure that finished goods meet company standards.
- Work with the quality team to identify and address any quality issues.
- Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with Other Departments:
- Communicate effectively with department heads to align goals and priorities.
- Ensure that finished goods are available to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Develop and Implement Strategies:
- Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Compliance with Safety Regulations:
- Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices among team members.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent education/work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Must be 21 or older at time of hire.
- Must demonstrate leadership abilities. Proven track record of high integrity.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Strong project management skills.
- Comfortable in bargaining unit environments.

- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $78,700 - $118,100.
- Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
