Hiring Pay Range: Loan Documentation Specialist I: $19.25 - $22.63 per hour Loan Documentation Specialist II: $20.50 - $25.25 per hour Loan Documentation Specialist III: $22.00 - $28.50 per hour The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary
Responsible for the preparation, quality control and delivery of loan documentations for all loan types for all regions of the bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position. Maintains thorough understanding and continuing knowledge regarding, regulatory loan compliance, state laws, bank’s credit policy, internal procedures, consumer disclosures, including but not limited to, TRID, RESPA, HMDA and any other overlapping areas of compliance related to loan documentation. Assist with and act as a reference point to lending staff in their various loan process and system duties. Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards. Monitor and track incoming loan requests on a central report and assign loans for processing to a loan processor. Accurately prepares all loan documentation required to properly document a loan and perfect the Banks’ security interest in collateral, ensuring compliance with state laws, regulatory agencies, bank’s internal procedures and policy requirements. Inputs loan information into various operating systems (including Laser Pro and the core system). Ensure loan documentation is prepared in accordance with the loan approval. Works through quality control process to ensure accuracy. Maintains checklists and worksheets for documentation compliance. Meets loan document delivery deadlines to ensure customer closing times are met. Informs management and/or lending staff of any documentation issues including missing documentation and/or the need to follow-up as appropriate. Correction of any loan documentation as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Loan Documentation Specialist I:
1 year of prior banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic understanding of applicable bank regulations (HMDA, RESPA, TRID, Reg B as applicable). Able to meet accuracy, deadline and other goals as set by management. Preferred experience with Laser Pro.
Loan Documentation Specialist II:
At least 2 years of prior banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient understanding of applicable bank regulations (HMDA, RESPA, TRID, Reg B as applicable) and bank lending policy and procedures. Proficient at processing and reviewing for quality control all loan types including, but not limited to, Consumer Mortgages (TRID disclosures to final documents), Commercial loans of all types, Agricultural, Energy and Modifications. Consistently meet accuracy, deadline and other goals as set by management. Preferred experience with Laser Pro.
Loan Documentation Specialist III:
At least 4 years of prior loan documentation experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced understanding of applicable bank regulations (HMDA, RESPA, TRID, Reg B as applicable) and bank lending policy and procedures. This person is able to lead trainings for the department on any topic and act as a resource for other team members. Proficient at processing and reviewing for quality control all loan types including, but not limited to, Consumer Mortgages (TRID disclosures to final documents), Commercial loans of all types, Agricultural, Energy and Modifications. This person is able to train team members on all loan types and helps the team meet their goals. Exceeds accuracy, deadline and other goals as set by management. Proficient with Laser Pro.
