Position Overview:
The Precision Solutions Territory Manager is a key player in Coastline Equipment's mission to provide top-tier precision construction solutions to our clients. Based in our North Las Vegas location, this role is responsible for selling, renting, and providing training on new and used TopCon and John Deere Precision Construction GPS, Laser, and Optical equipment. The Territory Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring their precision equipment needs are met with excellence and professionalism. This position is vital to expanding our market presence and driving sales growth within the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Rental of Precision Equipment:
Promote and sell new and used TopCon and John Deere Precision Construction GPS, Laser, and Optical equipment to customers within the assigned territory. Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored precision solutions. Product Knowledge:
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all precision equipment features and benefits, staying updated on the latest industry trends and advancements. Competitive Analysis:
Monitor competitive activities and product offerings, collaborating with management to proactively target and secure new customers. CRM Management:
Accurately maintain all customer information and sales activities within the CRM system to ensure effective sales management and reporting. Sales Process Management:
Navigate through all stages of the sales process efficiently, from initial contact to closing deals and after-sales support. Equipment Demonstrations and Training:
Conduct field demonstrations of precision equipment and provide thorough training to customers on the operation and maintenance of sold or rented products. Event Participation:
Assist in the planning and execution of customer events, showcasing Coastline Equipment's precision solutions and fostering customer engagement. Inventory and Vehicle Maintenance:
Ensure all assigned equipment and company vehicle are maintained in excellent condition, supporting operational efficiency. Required Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate's degree in a related field preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of equipment sales experience, preferably within a territory-based role. Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of the construction industry and its operational practices. Technical Skills:
Proficiency with IOS platforms and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.); familiarity with CRM systems. Communication Skills:
Excellent customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse clientele. Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports to inform strategies and decision-making. Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer and business needs. Language Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Preferred Experience:
Industry Experience:
Prior experience in equipment sales within the construction, mining, or forestry sectors. Certifications:
Relevant sales or technical certifications are advantageous. Technical Proficiency:
Experience with precision construction equipment and related technologies. Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Work Environment:
Location:
Primarily based in the North Las Vegas office, with a focus on managing the assigned sales territory. Travel:
Regular travel within the designated territory to meet with clients, conduct equipment demonstrations, and attend industry events. Conditions:
Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites and client offices, adapting to different weather and operational conditions. Reporting Structure:
