Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.The Cycle Count Team in conjunctions with both pick and receiving/shipping teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the inventory within the DC. Providing feedback and researching errors to bring a better quality of service to our customers. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.Schedule: 2nd Shift, 11:00am - 7:30pm (Monday through Friday)Additional responsibilities include: Cycle Counters report to the Inventory Supervisor. A Cycle Counter is expected to hit weekly counting goals to ensure that both monthly and yearly goals are met. These goals maintain a level of trust in our inventory accuracy. Additionally Cycle Counters performing spot checks on locations as requested by other departments to correct any discrepancies found. Cycle Counters are expected to perform a minimum level of system research to allow for team members to act on potential picking errors prior to material shipping to customers. Performing timely and accurate counts of various sized materials both at a ground level and at height. Operating equipment to access materials stored in overhead reserve locations. Use of SAP/EMW tools to investigate and research potential root cause for inventory discrepancies found. Provide verbal and written feedback to members of the supervisory team in regards to results on potential errors in a timely fashion.Job Essentials / Attributes: Communication - Clear, concise, and consistent communication both in verbal and written forms. Planning and Time Management - Planning large scale counting sessions and managing those counts while also handling spot counts is essential. Accuracy in Counting and attention to detail - Prioritize accuracy over speed to ensure that counts are done correctly the first time. Researching and reporting to errors in counting.Experience: Experience in a W&D or manufacturing environment. Ability to work collaboratively within teams. Exhibit positive attitude regarding work and responsibilities. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide and use a calculator. Follow written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with issues in standardized situations.
