Pay Range: $24.09 - $25.59
  • Operating and cleaning each machine or process in an efficient manner.
  • Maintaining quality product and proper packaging off each of the machines
  • Set-up packaging coders, validate product codes in accordance with code specifications.
  • Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol.
  • Perform routine equipment adjustments. Use of various hand tools.
  • Safe operation of a lift truck, moving materials throughout shift as needed/required.
  • Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents.
  • Keeping accurate production records wherever necessary.
  • Working closely with the other operators in an effort to ensure maximum efficiency on the production line.
  • Good attendance is a requirement to obtain and retain this position.
  • Ability to do changeovers, perform CIP, make adjustments and minor repairs on the production line whenever applicable or necessary.
  • Maintain quality and operating efficiency with regards to job. Follow all safety Follow all GMP's Any other duties assigned by supervision.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and passion for the job.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed to support complex operations.
  • Critical thinking and ability to analyze data and situations is a must. This involves being detail oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy and organization.
  • Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
  • Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics, actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy.
  • Work together in a team environment with co-workers and other department personnel.
  • Other duties as required by management.


Job requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent or (1)-year demonstrated work experience.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good math skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, software and data entry, SAP a plus.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, in English.
  • Good attendance is a must


Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
  • Fine manipulation and dexterity, gripping and squeezing.
  • Visual acuity with the ability to see color.
  • Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
