Summary of Role:

The Sr Dir, HEOR/RWE is responsible for, along with key cross functional partners including Scientific communications, Corporate Strategy Team, Research and Development, Clinical, and Global stakeholders, driving the development of and execution of a RWE data generation plan. This individual will lead the RWE team as well as external vendors towards the flawless execution of this plan. The role requires collaboration within the Market Access Department and across Servier including Commercial, Medical, Global, Compliance and Clinical Research. This role also requires the development and maintenance of Access tools such as the Budget impact models and AMCP Dossiers for Servier products.

This leader will be responsible for driving, along with the Medical Leadership team (MLT) a product based NCCN strategy for Servier products. This role will report to the Chief of US Medical Affairs and will be a member of the Medical Affairs Leadership Team which will require qualified candidates to possess enterprise leadership capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and execution of health economic and outcomes research data generation strategy and flawless planning (surrounding key data events such as SNO, ASH, ASCO and others) and execution of this plan through real-world evidence (RWE) studies/initiatives in support of Servier objectives.
  • Collaborates with cross functional medical partners as well as clinical development, commercial, and global partners in all facets of the planning and delivery of the RWE data generation plan.
  • Collaborates on the development of compelling and differentiated product value propositions for existing products and for those in development by building close working relationships within and external to the medical affairs function.
  • Provides HEOR/RWE education/skill development to US and Global colleagues.
  • Addresses issues and needs from the field medical team to support strategic scientific exchange towards existing data gaps.
  • Performs other duties as required or directed by the Chief of US Medical Affairs.
  • Performs all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • A proven medical affairs leader who manages a team of direct reports, projects, cross functional team members, budgets.
  • Proven experience at strategic product evidence planning to include all aspects of planning from ideation to charting timelines and co-dependencies, as well as internal and external contributor management and alignment.

Education and Required Skills:

  • Terminal degree: PhD or Pharm D required.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry including HEOR/RWE evidence generation. Candidates from pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, consultancies and academia will be considered.
  • Strong project management and planning skills in RWE studies, HEOR initiatives (including AMCP Dossiers, budget impact models, systematic literature reviews, indirect treatment comparisons, etc.), and publications.
  • Experience in the development of RWE study protocols and statistical analysis plans in oncology.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with globally accepted RWE and HEOR methodologies.
  • Experience analyzing US deidentified longitudinal healthcare databases including that of healthcare claims and electronic health records.
  • Current oncology and specialty biologics experience.
  • Recent collaboration and leadership role on US publication(s), in oncology, using RWE and HEOR methodologies.
  • Collaboration and leadership skills, including the ability to gain consensus and act within a complex matrixed organization in addition to clinical oncology thought leaders/experts.
  • High level of strategic acumen in a competitive Therapeutic Area environment.
  • Results oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proven leader of direct reports.
  • Experience collaborating with global HEOR and RWE departments.
  • Experience in biostatistics.

Travel & Location:

  • Boston based with 2-3 days per week in our Seaport office; will consider Remote candidates.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%).

Salary Range:

The salary range for this role is $295,000 - $335,000. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
