The incumbent of this position is responsible for general duty police work which includes the prevention, detection and investigation of crimes and for maintaining and enforcing law and order.
The position is located in the Lynnwood Police Department and is under the direct supervision of the shift duty sergeant. Applicants hired as lateral police officers will receive a twenty five thousand dollar ($25,000) incentive.
Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) will be paid following the start of employment.
Five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be paid upon successful achievement of solo status.
