1. Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)

Prepares and analyzes Procurement and Supply Chain Management reports and indicators. Determines the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the information. Works with other departments to determine data and method to present data. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

1.

Function as POC for Procurement FAR/DFAR issues between Supplier and Procurement.

2.

Supports Procurement with AWPC Standard or Supplemental T&C's and Contract agreements

3.

Responsible for identifying qualified Diverse Suppliers, creating and

implementing Diverse Supplier development strategies, monitoring and

reporting program success and participating in community facing outreach.

4.

Development and sponsorship of the corporate diversity supplier

certification, performance evaluation, and recognition process

5.

Corporate sponsorship and leadership in initiating, directing and marketing a

Supplier Diversity process which develops minority, veteran, women and

LGBTQ owned businesses with additional focus on the based supplier

community in support of strategic efforts.

6.

Duties include distribution of department reports, transmitting various documents associated with the purchase cycle, International sales orders and data entry

7.

Collect and prioritize local improvement requirements to pass to central teams for process modification

8.

Perform Local Training on Procedures and Systems in coordination with central stream

9.

IT tool profile authorization management (Procurement Roles) - e.g. SAP, SharePoint, etc.

10.

Internal and External Users support to e-Business/Leonardo Portal

11.

Support External and Internal Audis accordingly with P&SC central Streams

12.

Perform the Compliance Check and Assurance accordingly P&SC central Streams

13.

Local Master/Procurement Data and Vendor Master data Maintenance accordingly with PG&C Central Streams guidance and coordination

3. Qualifications for Position:

A. Education

Bachelor's degree required with a supply chain, financial, business, operational or equivalent background (May substitute comparable work experience for education)

B. Experience
• 8 or more years' experience in Supply Chain Management with an excellent understanding of the Procurement process. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a Supply Chain of which spent:
• Three to five years of relevant work experience in Supplier Diversity programs
• Three to five years of relevant work experience FARS/DFARS
• Three to five years of Procurement contract experience
• Strong knowledge of general supply chain principles in Aviation area preferred.
• Experience developing minority outreach strategy, writing program plans, development and delivery of program training modules preferred.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, peers and external audiences.
• Experience reviewing policy, legislative, regulatory requirements preferred.
• Familiarity and experience with Federal Government and prime contractor procurement procedures and policies as well as the USG acquisition lifecycle (FARS/DFARS)
• Experience with computer software and applications, including SAP, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel and eSRS (Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System, and GIDEP for data management and reporting purposes.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple activities/events and prioritize.
• Technical skills/Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability in the following areas:
• Analytical and data analysis skills, knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system, Supplier and customer relationship management, well-organized and adaptable,
• Demonstrated ability/experience in creating/reviewing and providing feedback for Procurement Legal documents i.e.. Terms and Conditions, agreement templates, NDA, etc..
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Ambitious self-starter who plans, prioritizes, manages and completes tasks within fast-paced, deadline-driven schedule
• Contract Law Degree (JD) or A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies from an American Bar Association (ABA) with documented experience in contract law, between one and five years of experience as Paralegal depending on your degree.
