Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle management of highly complex projects or programs, from discovery through closeout.
  • Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT managers to define goals, finalize scope, and allocate resources.
  • Identify and address risks, dependencies, and scope changes, providing recommendations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Deliver executive-level communications, including detailed status reports and stakeholder updates.
  • Oversee vendor management, including monitoring deliverables, resolving issues, and participating in vendor selection processes.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) to assess project outcomes.
  • Conduct quality audits, lessons-learned reviews, and ensure adherence to risk management and change control guidelines.
  • Champion compliance with security and risk management policies while fostering innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Reside in St. Louis, MO, or the surrounding area, with the ability to work onsite semi-regularly.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, including large-scale IT application development projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience interfacing with C-suite leaders.
  • Proven ability to foster strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in data strategy and analytics.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and CI/CD principles.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $65-75 per hour (W2 Only)
  • Duration: 1-year contract starting January 2025, with potential for full-time conversion at a salary of $130-150K.
  • Structure: Hybrid, 2-3 days a week onsite, flexible schedule.
  • Location: St. Louis, MO (must be local).

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
