We are seeking an Executive Assistant.
This position is on-site in Washington DC, Washington Navy Yard with situationally approved telework.
- Manage extensive executive schedule, coordinate visit requests, and de-conflict events for senior-level principal.
- Arrange for appropriate conference rooms/facilities and prepare meeting places in accordance with acceptable protocol and security procedures.
- Assist with special event requirements such as time and place, location, duration, number of attendees, security requirements, and travel arrangements.
- Gather information; articulate, analyze, and solve problems; visualize and present information; and provide decision support to achieve mission outcomes.
Qualifications
- Military or industry Executive Assistant experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to communicate and work with senior executives efficiently and effectively (to include experience interfacing/communicating with senior executive leadership in government or industry)
- Ability to work independently in an extremely fast paced dynamic environment, managing multiple emails and calendars at once
- Experience with DoD senior level administrative and staffing requirements
- Strong experience writing and editing memos and correspondence
- Excellent MS Office skills (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills plus strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide executive level management and analytical support to the Interior Communications (IC) and Networks, Naval Sea Systems Command 05H division Director
- This position requires close interaction with department leadership within the NAVSEA and across the DoD, including Components, industry partners to achieve IC goals and mission outcomes
- Specifically, the Executive Assistant helps our customers solve complex problems; manage meetings, schedules, and office operations; plan and track travel, visit requests, and increase workforce productivity through process improvement
