We are hiring a Manufacturing Technician for a comopany that specializes in creating durable and customizable labels, tags, and plates for various industries.Job Summary:As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment and processes. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, performing quality control checks, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all products meet strict standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in mechanical and electrical systems, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and be committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet production goals.Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings to ensure product specifications are met.Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, machinery, and systems in a timely manner.Document all maintenance activities, equipment status, and production metrics.Assist in the training and mentorship of junior technicians and new team members.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to improve manufacturing processes.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.Report any production delays, equipment failures, or quality issues to the supervisory team.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) is a plus.2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and maintenance.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.Basic knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.Willingness to work in shifts or on-call as required.Benefits:Use this link bit.ly/4cGUQSh to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge's temporary employees.
