We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team at Lindner Chevrolet. In this critical role, your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing current sales metrics, implementing innovative sales strategies, and training our sales team on effective selling techniques. Your hands-on approach will also extend to hiring skilled sales representatives who can contribute to our ongoing success. We are particularly interested in candidates with a minimum of five years’ experience in automotive sales and a proven capacity for not only closing deals effectively but also maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
Establish clear sales targets, diligently track overall performance, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed these objectives.
Provide leadership by coaching team members on effective closing techniques and offering practical advice to enhance sales outcomes.
Predict and analyze sales trends for upcoming periods, allowing the dealership to plan effectively.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues when necessary to ensure high satisfaction.
Facilitate regular sales meetings to communicate strategies and updates to the sales team.
Develop and enhance our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to improve client retention and explore new sales opportunities.
Maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction in every interaction.
Prepare and provide detailed reports to dealership management for evaluation and strategy refinement.
Qualifications for Success:
Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role within a dealership.
In-depth knowledge of effective sales techniques and strategies.
Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales objectives.
Strong leadership capability with a focus on motivating team members.
Attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Vibrant and service-oriented personality.
Understanding of inventory management practices.
