Senior storage engineer

The Sr. Backup Storage Engineer will possess in-depth understanding, knowledge and experience of CommVault Complete Data Protection. Responsibilities include: VMware data protection and recovery using VADP (VMware vStorage API for Data Protection); Configuring storage arrays with business continuity solutions; Performing upgrades; Executing storage migration and data center consolidation projects; Administering Pure Storage solutions, including both hardware and software components; Understanding IBM storage systems, including configuration and management; Managing Dell storage systems, with capabilities in setup, troubleshooting, and optimization; Working with NetApp storage solutions, such as ONTAP, SnapMirror, and SnapVault; Using scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, for automating storage management tasks and workflows; Proficiency with UNIX systems (including IBM AIX, Linux, and HP-UX) and TCP/IP, along with administering networking hardware; Designing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable cloud solutions across various platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and IBM Cloud. Additionally, the candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills, effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
