Meet Reality SF: We are a community following Jesus, seeking renewal in our city. Reality SF (Reality SF) is a church located in the heart of San Francisco, California. The church started with a prayer meeting in Hayes Valley. It began with just a few locals of the city who had heard about a new church community and about 13 people who had moved up from the Santa Barbara area. The first prayer meetings were full of dependence upon God and anticipation of what He might want to do. San Francisco is one of the least churched cities in the nation and by God's grace, Reality SF has grown from a few dozen people to over 2000. In August of 2021, the church moved into its new permanent facility on Valencia Street in the Mission District. Although communicating the Gospel to a diverse, progressive, and creative city like San Francisco has been one of the most challenging, yet inspiring endeavors, Reality SF continues its mission as a community of people who have been renewed by the Gospel of Jesus with the purpose of making Him known. It is their desire to communicate the unchanging truth of the person and work of Jesus Christ in a way that everyone in the city and culture can comprehend. Reality SF is part of a family of churches held closely together through relationships, a shared philosophy of ministry, and a deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus. About the Executive Director:
