Lead Global Enterprise Demand Generation Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive, demand generation strategy for Enterprise markets across the world, leveraging multi-channel campaigns, ABM, and content-driven engagement tactics to drive pipeline growth and conversion, with a focus on up-market accounts. Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing approach, nurturing leads and driving engagement from awareness to closed deals through digital, content, and event-driven initiatives. Innovate with data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize campaigns, targeting, and messaging, ensuring high-impact outreach and engagement. Lead the Enterprise Marketing team while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence. Build scalable, repeatable demand programs that maximize Axon's visibility and credibility within the Enterprise market, reinforcing our reputation as a market leader in safety technology. Oversee the creation and implementation of targeted campaigns that align with revenue objectives, integrating thought leadership, product storytelling and customer success. Collaborate with Corporate Marketing Centers of Excellence
Partner with centralized marketing teams, including Brand, Creative, PR, Events, and Digital, to ensure the Enterprise demand generation strategy is aligned with Axon’s broader goals and optimized for the enterprise audience. Serve as a bridge between Enterprise sales and product teams, providing insights to ensure that marketing strategies directly support business objectives and resonate with target segments. Drive Data-Driven Decision-Making
Establish KPIs to track and analyze performance, implementing real-time optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI. Lead regular reviews with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and pivoting as needed to stay aligned with sales goals and market dynamics. Utilize analytics and CRM insights to continually refine the GTM approach, making Axon’s enterprise marketing efforts increasingly impactful. What You Bring
12+ years of leadership experience in marketing and communications, with specialized expertise in integrated marketing and transformation at high-growth companies. Proven experience leading marketing efforts for U.S.-based companies as they expand into international markets. A strong background in managing and executing marketing programs across digital, events, creative and demand generation. A data-driven mindset, with a proven ability to track, measure and optimize marketing performance. Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, with experience working closely with sales, product and marketing teams worldwide. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to inspire and align global teams. Strong experience with brand building, demand generation and public affairs. The first 90 days are a critical period for setting the foundation and momentum that will drive Axon’s demand generation success within the Enterprise market to greater heights. By establishing clear strategies, KPIs, and collaborative processes, you will be pivotal in enabling Axon to meet ambitious growth targets and expand its impact across Enterprise sectors.
The First 30 Days
Establish Relationships : Build rapport with your direct reports, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders across Enterprise sales, product, and corporate marketing. Focus on understanding their priorities, pain points, and expectations to foster collaborative working relationships. Market Immersion : Conduct an in-depth analysis of Axon’s Enterprise offerings, core customer segments, and competitive landscape. Participate in customer meetings and field observations to gain firsthand insights into the challenges and opportunities within enterprise markets to bring recommendations on where we are having impact and where we need to refocus efforts. Audit and Assessment : Review existing demand generation programs, current pipelines, and historical performance data. Evaluate digital, content, and event-based marketing initiatives to identify immediate opportunities for optimization or realignment. The First 60 Days
Present a Strategic Plan : Based on your initial assessment, develop and present a high-level demand generation strategy that outlines key goals, targeted campaigns, and performance metrics. Align this strategy with the broader marketing and revenue goals to ensure an aligned approach across all Enterprise teams. Identify Quick Wins : Launch a few targeted, high-impact demand generation initiatives to capture pipeline momentum with key opportunities. These could include accelerated digital campaigns, lead-nurturing programs, or targeted account-based marketing (ABM) efforts focused on high-potential Enterprise accounts. Optimize Cross-functional Collaboration : Establish regular communication cadences and processes with corporate centers of excellence, including PR, Brand, and Digital, to ensure coordinated support for demand generation activities. Work with the Rev Intel team to review and optimize frameworks for campaign tracking, reporting, and shared insights with sales and product teams. 90 Days & Beyond
Launch Key Campaigns : Execute priority demand generation campaigns across digital, content, and event channels, closely monitoring performance to ensure alignment with Axon’s sales objectives. Drive pipeline growth in key sectors, with a focus on Fortune 500 accounts, by leveraging multi-channel campaigns and optimizing based on real-time data. Establish KPI Benchmarks : Set foundational KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of demand generation efforts. Begin tracking campaign performance and pipeline impact, and introduce a regular cadence of performance reviews to optimize for high ROI. Contribute to Long-term Strategy : Integrate your insights and learnings from early campaigns into Axon’s long-term Enterprise marketing strategy, making recommendations on budget allocations, resource needs, and new initiatives that will support sustainable growth. Build for Scale : Begin formalizing scalable processes for demand generation that can be expanded as the Enterprise business grows. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 174,960 in the lowest geographic market and USD 279,936 in the highest geographic market.
