The Opportunity
The Airbyte UI is an intuitive and powerful UI that simplifies complex data replication for everyone. It empowers non-technical users to get up and running quickly and equips power users to optimize and monitor their pipelines. In addition, the Frontend Chapter owns the Connector Builder , Connector Marketplace, and enables excellent contributor experience for both Airbyte and community engineers. Connector Builder already powers thousands of Airbyte users to move data from their internal sources into data warehouses, databases, and vector DBs, and we’re just getting started! Your work will empower the Airbyte API sources team, solutions engineering, and support engineering teams to use Builder to enable our community. You’ll help make Builder the best IDE for data connectors. Frontend engineers are embedded in different product teams. As the Frontend Chapter Lead, you will foster a community of the frontend engineers across all of Engineering. You will facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across all frontend devs. You will be responsible for making sure the frontend codebase remains cohesive despite contributions from across the org and maintain a high standard for quality. You will also be a mentor to the other frontend engineers. Last, but not least, you are an engineer on the team and are expected to spend most of your time working hands on technical projects. Build a strong frontend culture Mentor the members of the frontend chapter Organize frontend efforts across the entire engineering team Write high-leverage code and provide architectural guidance What You'll Need
Nice to have: knowledge and some experience with other programming languages,(we’re using Java and Kotlin in the platform backend). 8+ years of software engineering experience. Experience building developer tools and/or B2B applications. Experience working directly with the users of your products, internally and externally, from research, to enablement, to closing the feedback loop. Experience leading an engineering team, leveling up other engineers around you, and supporting other teams in your organization. An insatiable desire to ship code that relentlessly enhances user experience. A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level). Location

$208,000- $250,000
