We are seeking a Revenue and Subscriptions Data Scientist to join a team passionate about Data Science & Analytics for Apple Services to support transaction and subscription businesses across App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple One, and other services! You will play a key role understanding and optimizing the businesses under Apple Services as a part of the Revenue and Subscriptions Data Science team. As a member of this team, you will help us to grow the financial, transaction, and subscription health of our businesses by sizing, measuring, and recommending impactful initiatives. Description: As a data scientist on the Revenue and Subscriptions Data Science team, you’ll establish, improve, and socialize top line and operational metrics that accurately represent the business state of health; craft deep dives in large-scale data to identify key insights that advise product improvements and business strategy; and develop, improve, and execute on experimental measurement plans for new subscriptions and commerce products and features. You will employ sophisticated analytic tools such as A/B testing and causal modeling to accurately understand the effect of multiple and often interrelated initiatives; build and maintain positive relationships with key partners across the company to successfully deliver actionable insights; and collaborate with business, marketing, finance, and executive teams to generate regular presentations for C-level executives. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or digital product analytics Mastery in SQL-based languages, and proficiency in large-scale data languages such as PySpark Proven record measuring user experience behavior, customer engagement, and business impact using sophisticated and appropriate analytic tools Strong proponent of experimental test and design, and practical experience with interpreting observational results Excellent communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively between business and analytics teams Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills across both technical and non-technical audiences Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a digital subscription business or for an e-commerce platform Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related field Pay & Benefits: At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
