The Solutions Architect-Security will work as aSecurity expert supporting account teams, customers, and go-to-market initiatives. The Solutions Architect will take a consultative approach and lead discussions with clientsregardingsecurityplatforms, understand how technology enables business,and recognize opportunities for the company.This position is a remote position withaHomeOffice setup asdeterminedby SHI management. Responsibilities _Include but not limited to:_ Designing and recommending security solutions based on industry trends and knowledge of clientenvironments Educatingsales teams onsecuritysolution selling and key technologies Developingandmaintaininginternal intellectual property: a combination of white papersandsubject matter guides Supportingcompanysecurityservices offerings and portfolioby working closely with the SHI services department Designingan appropriate securitysolutionfor the customerbased on requirementdocuments Collaboratingwith other solution architects and engineers in support of sales teams Engaging inself-study and independent work in lab facilities to increasehands-onjob-relatedskills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Minimum5years ofexperienceworking with design and delivery/implementation of information security/risk management products or operational IT/securityexperience Required Skills Independent and entrepreneurial Ability to designsecurityinfrastructure includingfirewalls, endpoint, email, intrusion prevention/detection,identity, andgovernance Ability todemonstratetechnical capabilities of securitytechnology Excellent presentation skills, with Experience presenting to customers, internal teams, or local professionalgroups Excellent troubleshooting skills withtheability to diagnose theproblem High-levelreading comprehensionneededto examine manuals and technicalreports Preferred Skills Performance of one or more gap assessments for formalized information security frameworks and compliance requirements preferred but notrequired One or more of the following security certifications: Cisco NA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC, CEH, or equivalent preferred but notrequired Technical writing Experience across a diverse set of data center technology solutions SOW creation and delivery Travel to client locationsrequiredup to 20%, for customer meetings, internal meetings or engagements, travel to customer or partner sites, conferences,and SHI offices. Extended hours arerequiredto complete some specialprojects Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
