Chantilly, VA Essential Functions: Responsible for full lifecycle Project Engineering support for a range of software development as well as integration efforts utilizing Agile Methodology and tools. Successfully lead a project team to meet customer requirements within allocated cost and schedule commitments in a growing business area. Develop, oversee, and coordinate the cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer. Review status of engineering projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. Assess engineering issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Identify, track, mitigate, manage, and dispose of program-level risks and opportunities. Estimate resource and material needs for the project/product. Provide coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received. Understand how to develop a schedule using Earned Value (EV) and manage a project using the Earned Value Indicators. Participate in small teams and perform a wide variety of tasks. Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment on quick reaction projects with regular contact with customers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Active TS/SCI clearance is required with a Poly. Technical background in software. Experience with Earned Value Management and Microsoft Project. Experience with best practices for project engineering and program execution. Experience in managing multi-discipline programs across multiple locations. Experience in hardware/software integration programs. Experience managing projects with budgets of $30M. Experience with Technical Supplier Management, Risk and Opportunity Management. Experience with managing Agile SW development programs including using Confluence. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with Agile PLM. Experience or knowledge of Government contract acquisition lifecycle a plus. Experience with management of design to cost activities. Experience with program, pursuit, and proposal activities.
