We are the Operations Compensation Engineering, Analytics ‘N Science (OCEANS) team. We are a business intelligence team and our purpose is to use data to influence the way Amazon grows and scales our talent and compensation strategy for over a million employees worldwide. We are looking for a dynamic teammate to join our team and drive new initiatives that seek to establish Operational Excellence and Efficiency standards and framework for business intelligence professionals. You are an action-oriented, experienced technical program manager with a track record of driving process improvements and full-cycle program management from conception and design through implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement. You are a strong written communicator who leads document writing and mechanism delivery. You will partner with leaders to execute on existing mechanisms and build new approaches and service-delivery implementation plans for products and services. You will drive the development of new processes and tools across engineering teams. You are a master organizer, thrive in fast-paced agile working environments, enjoy finding simple and fast solutions amid complex situations, and have exacting attention to detail. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 3+ years of software development experience - Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
