$41.9200-$69.1600/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Marketing & Communications Operations Manager manages, coordinates and ensures the on-time and orderly flow of all communication and marketing projects from job initiation to its final delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an exceptional communicator, process-oriented, able to think creatively and respond quickly; all with a positive attitude. This employee will utilize Hoag’s project management software program, Workfront, to assign, intake, own various tasks and monitor projects’ progress and interact with everyone on those projects to assure accountability along with balancing, assigning and scheduling resources. The Manager will be adept at scheduling and coordinating project efforts and possess a comprehensive understanding of various marketing and communications departmental needs in all its forms. They must have the ability to both facilitate constructive dialogue, discover and suggest alternative solutions to varied challenges and accurately represent their specific team's efforts and methodologies to all stakeholders across the organization. This all-encompassing role requires a high-level view of many different parts including stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines. It also calls for extreme attention to detail, a mind for prioritization, and the ability to solve problems as they arise. Key Responsibilities include: Intake management – collaborate with requestors to ensure initiative information is complete and of high quality, shepherd the request through prioritization and approval and update and manage daily activities of all projects. Fact-find on behalf of the content, digital and creative teams; works within project management system to ensure initial project requests have all necessary information and assets. Create workflow within the project management system that includes all tasks to execute the project and assign each task to the appropriate team members and vendors, including graphic design, photography, videography, printing, writing and programming. Adapt and create Workfront templates and dashboards to enhance workflow processes and accountability. Review all creative as a final check before it goes to “client”; ensure quality control. Attend all creative briefings and intakes; understands project objective and strategy. Coordinates department’s budget, timelines and approvals, including responsibility for timely assignment and payment of all department invoices. Additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, advertising or business. 2+ years previous project management and trafficking experience with marketing, print, video and digital projects; prior experience in a creative agency a plus. Proficient in MS Office applications and project management/workflow systems – prior experience with Workfront (or similar programs – Asana, Monday, etc.). Detail-oriented, persistent follow-up and the ability to manage shifting priorities. Ability to coordinate cross-functional team efforts. Resourceful and solution oriented and able to anticipate needs. General knowledge of creative terminology. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud software.
