Up to 25% Job Description Primary Objective/Position Summary:

The Program Coordinator II (PC II) is an intermediate-level role within CNFA’s Programs Department and will work with a dynamic team to support CNFA’s global portfolio of agricultural development programs. This position provides essential administrative support from CNFA’s Washington, DC office, initially to a BHA-funded program in Madagascar. General Responsibilities: Support coordination of various client and partner meetings. Provide start-up support. Assist in the development and finalization of programmatic reporting and work planning processes. Support M&E functions and finalization of M&E deliverables. Serve as a liaison between projects and CNFA HQ in Washington, DC to ensure smooth communication. Oversee quality control in the development of work plans, budgets, progress reports, regular updates, and other key project deliverables. Support senior program team members in managing the operational and programmatic success of projects. Monitor project budgets, providing guidance on adjustments to expenditure plans as needed to ensure proper implementation. Track project progress to ensure compliance with agreements, both programmatically and financially, while ensuring timely achievement of project goals. Assist in preparing requests for contractual approvals. Collaborate with the communications team to develop and maintain promotional content for project and CNFA websites. Draft scopes of work and timelines for consultants, and support the recruitment of qualified candidates for consultancy positions. Aid CNFA’s recruitment team in identifying, hiring, and retaining key staff, including local personnel. Travel to field offices for site visits to assess program progress, gather information, and provide support to field operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience administratively backstopping international development projects/programs focused on enterprise development, agriculture and/or agribusiness. Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: • Knowledge of USAID (and/or other donor) program planning cycles, regulations, and reporting requirements. • Strong conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills. • Working proficiency in French. • Ability to take initiative, organize tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, ensuring deadlines are met with attention to detail. • Skilled in building strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve desired outcomes. • Capable of managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously. • Comfortable working in an environment with international objectives. • Flexible and able to engage with individuals at all levels with strong interpersonal skills. • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
