The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, a non-profit organization with a mission to help the animals in the community and to reduce pet overpopulation, is seeking full-time Veterinarians. We are a private non-profit facility, not an animal shelter or animal control agency. We have been dedicated to reducing the pet overpopulation problem in the inland empire for over 50 years. The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley is a 17,000 sq. ft. Veterinary Clinic and Education Center, providing quality low-cost spay/neuter services and minor surgical procedures to over 10,000 dogs and cats a year. The clinic consists of two double surgery suites and 5 exam rooms. Our Wellness clinic provides vaccinations, health check-ups, preventive care, minor illness treatment, as well as a strong focus on client education. Our veterinary team currently has 2 veterinarians, 3 RVT’s, and 8 veterinary assistants. The applicant must have the following: Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited veterinary college. Current and valid California state veterinary license. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment that includes high-volume and pediatric spay/neuter surgeries. Ability to manage support staff and client flow for 5 exam rooms, seeing up to 25 vet exams daily. A sincere respect for animals and an active concern for their well-being. Work with humane officers and oversee care of animals involved in our cruelty cases. Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills.
