Eligible to receive annual performance bonuses as additional compensation Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service. Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, rules, standards, customer requirements and governmental/regulatory requirements. Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner. Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity. Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members. Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed. Sets, measures and manages performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving/exceeding operational and financial objectives and goals. Ensures compliance with rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies and applicable laws. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. Basic Qualifications Pre-requisites: Must be a local (in-state) resident or willing to relocate. Valid In-State Driver’s License. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check. Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. Must complete SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. Education: High School diploma or GED. Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Education: Four-year college education or equivalent experience. Experience: Four+ years of relevant experience. Relevant supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to apply creative solutions that have positive impact on results. Able to effectively resolve employee conflicts. Strong leadership qualities and ability to create a passionate and efficient workforce. Working Conditions Work Schedule: You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment. Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment. Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!) May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods. Physical Demands/Requirements: Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods. Must be able to work in cramped or high places. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs. Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone.
