Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and screenings to assess oral health Remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized homecare instructions Take and develop dental x-rays as needed Assist the dentist during procedures as required Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans Monitor and manage hygiene supplies and equipment Qualifications Valid NY licensure as a Dental Hygienist CPR certification Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, products, and equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental practice Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems Continuing education in dental hygiene Spanish fluency
