Position Summary

The Business Development Manager - B2B is responsible for creating, building, and growing local commercial fleet account relationships to achieve sales, service, and profit obligations. The role is responsible and accountable for the overall NEW commercial fleet sales within a defined territory. This role will involve spending most of the time on in-person sales calls in the Indianapolis market.

Essential Functions

The Business Development Manager - B2B position at GreatWater Garages is integral. Team members are expected to support the company's mission and core values:
  • Develops and executes the end-to-end strategy of the commercial fleet segments to align with GreatWater's vision.
  • Monitors and drives significant growth in the commercial fleet segments to align with GreatWater's vision to ensure superior customer service.
  • Ensures superior execution of service processes/activities and internal standards designed to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Cultivates and grows NEW client relationships.
  • Prospects qualifies and closes sales.
  • Plans executes and manages client accounts/projects to ensure success.
  • Collaborates with clients to determine service requirements.
  • Develops project plans with clients to meet goals and objectives.
  • Creates a pleasant experience for clients by coordinating with marketing to provide solutions.
  • Coordinates and facilitates regular client meetings.
  • Ensures client satisfaction and retention.
  • Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing or a combination of additional sales management experience and education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience
  • Demonstrated history of growing the business through superior customer service
Knowledge & Skills
  • Exceptional process management and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and improve financial results
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and drive processes
  • Function effectively in an especially fast-paced, high growth operating environment, managing time effectively to address high priority items in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficient in CRM tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate with peers, subordinates, customers, and executive management.
  • Exceptional business writing and presentation skills with ability to analyze data, tell "the story" and develop detailed operational changes to plans, to implement cost savings and revenue growth opportunities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • This job operates in a normal office environment with time on the road.
  • Operates normal office equipment: computer, keyboard, mouse, etc.
  • Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory (some overnight travel) and work varied schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
