Collaborate with the Emergency Department to manage unassigned patients and provide primary care coverage as needed. Offer consultation services for subspecialties, pre/post-operative management, and ICU/observation coverage with intensivist support. Clinical Decision Making : Make timely and effective clinical decisions, write routine orders, and ensure accurate and prompt documentation, including dictations. Maintain excellent communication with patients, their families, nursing staff, and other physicians to ensure cohesive care delivery. Teaching Opportunities : Participate in teaching and attending services for physicians interested in academic medicine and mentorship, helping to train the next generation of healthcare providers. Practice Details: Shift Hours : Variable 8-12 hour shifts with a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, providing work-life balance and continuity of care.
