Intro On behalf of our client Procom is seeking a talented Senior Mobile Application Developer. This role offers the opportunity to work on the next generation of mobile finance applications within a cutting-edge team renowned for the products they create and the client satisfaction they support. Our client's mobile products deliver exceptional customer service, brokerage, and banking solutions to both retail and institutional investors.
Job Details As the Mobile Architect on the Mobile Application Technology Team, you will be responsible for providing design and architecture guidance across Schwab's suite of mobile applications for Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant. You will collaborate closely with other technologists to define the mobile application technology strategy for the firm. You will lead design discussions, mentor engineers on proper mobile application solutions, and publish and present to technology leaders and business executives, offering thought leadership around technical solutions.
Mandatory Skills - 7+ years of Mobile Development Experience. - 3+ years of experience architecting and designing native iOS app solutions. - Proficiency with Swift and experience with Xcode IDE, Interface Builder, and performance tools. - Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, and real-time communications. - Experience interfacing with server-side APIs (REST, JSON, XML). - Understanding of Apple's principles and human interface guidelines. - Familiarity with Agile practices. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with technology leaders, business executives, and mentoring engineers.
Desired Skills - Experience with Swift UI, BDD, Agile practices, and mobile encryption algorithms. - Financial- Banking background and matrix environment. - Understanding of mobile encryption algorithms, analytics, and social channel integration. - Experience in developing reusable artifacts, modules, and assets.
Start Date Anticipated start date is 1/13/2025.
Location This position is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, requiring 3-4 days a week in the office.
