Job Description 1. Orients new Physician Assistants to major duties and to the Clinical Policies and Procedures of the particular service or department. 2.Participates in chart audits and other Quality Assurance activities for the department or service. 3.Participates in lectures to staff Physician Assistants for on going medical education and in the training of health care professionals or nursing students if present on the service. 4.Participates in research activities of department, service or supervising Physician when appropriate. 5.Performs related administrative duties on an incidental basis as required
Minimum Qualifications 1. Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant; and, 2. Current certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); and, 3. Two years of full time, satisfactory clinical experiences as a Physician Assistant.
