Job Summary:
The Lead QA Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, including manual and automated testing, to ensure software reliability and performance. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and CI/CD, with a willingness to adopt tools like Katalon Studio. The candidate will develop and execute test plans, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improve QA practices. Collaboration with development teams and stakeholders is essential to drive quality outcomes in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and technical specifications.
• Define and implement test automation strategies and frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate programming languages and testing frameworks.
• Execute automated and manual tests, generate detailed test reports, and identify defects for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance QA practices.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium, with a willingness to learn Katalon Studio.
• Experience with manual and automated software testing techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in GitHub for version control.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and CircleCI.
• Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as XUnit and TestNG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Katalon Studio and other test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems like Jira.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with test management tools like Jira X-ray.
• Familiarity with advanced CI/CD tools such as Argo Workflows.
