Position: Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Overview: Cyber Defense Technologies (CDT), a leading small business cybersecurity and engineering firm, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Information System Security (ISSO) onsite in Dayton, OH with a TS/SCI clearance. As an ISSO, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain system authorization documents, and implement effective security measures to protect organizational data.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining the appropriate operational security posture for an information system. Implement and manage year-round tracking, reporting, and providing recommendations on Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) Continuous monitoring security meetings with system representatives to discuss any outstanding security items or changes to risk posture. Authoring of Security Impact Analyses (SIA) for planned changes and/or deployments; and maintenance of Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) inventory records as applicable. Maintain and update the System Security Plan (SSP) and other required documentation. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 5+ years of relevant experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
